Walkera CB180D/CB180Q
The CB180D & CB180Q has been outdated and replaced by the CB180Z-PRO. Both the CB180D & CB180Q were best sellers in 2009. But due to persistant brush motor problems and delayed tail response, Walkera has since released the CB180Z which is later upgraded to the CB180Z-PRO with extended servo travel. Although the CB180D & CB180Q cost a lot less, they are both plagued with peformance and maintenance issues which are now resolved in the new Walkera CB180Z-PRO.
THE OLD CB180D & CB180Q FEATURES
- Brush main & tail motors that needs to be replaced between 50 to 70 flights with decreasing power through out that life span as the brushes in the motors get dirty or wear out.

Tail motor takes time to rev-up or slow-down which causes delays in tail hold.

Vulnerable 3-bladed tail rotor keeps breaking everytime it clips any thing.

Brushless upgrade can be implemented on the main motor with additional cost while the tail brushless motor upgrade is too slow and unreliable.
