Part Number: KT-71318+4G3 20T+2.9g/Holder/Clamp+ESC+44+Manual
Manufacturer Part No: MAP85.95

Includes the newest carbon C-holder for 4G3 weighst under 0.7g which is the lightest carbon stand/motor holder available.

This includes everything to turn your brushless 4G3 (Novus CP) into a double brushless hot rod with the most powerful brushless main and tail motors in the market. Why is the 2.9g Brushless Tail motor a better choice than the Walkera 2g tail motor? We carry both motors and we think you should know the difference when you are paying extra. The 2.9g motor has about 50% more torque/power and it comes with double bearings verses the 2g with no bearings. The bearings greatly prolongs the life of the motor and are extremely durable during a crash! Why is the Turbo Ace brushless main motor a better choice than the stock Walkera brushless main?

This tail kit includes 2.9g C-shape carbon fiber holder/stand for 2.9g motor, motor-locking-clamp, Turbo Ace 71318 (HP07-2, WOW-7) brushless main motor, 2.9g Brushless tail outrunner motor with 11 inch long triple wires, Walkera brushless tail wire set, Walkera newest brushless tail ESC with build-in converter and complete photo instruction manual - everything that you need to upgrade your existing stock main brushless 4G3 to a hot rod double brushless. Use your existing 4G3 tail rotor which is not included in this package. Holder fits 4G3 square boom and is secured by a CNC metal bracket with 2 screws. Though the 2.9g motor mounting on this V-shape tail holder  looks similar to other tail holders on the market, it is not the same. Wow Hobbies utilizes an exclusive motor-locking-clamp (instead of glue used on 2.9g kits from all other suppliers) to secure the 2.9g motor which will not dislodge from the tail holder during a crash. Since no glue is used to lock the motor to the tail holder, the motor can be easily removed for service. For your convenience, the motor and the tail motor holder have been assembled. The ESC included in this kit is Walkera's newest tail version. Our test has shown that the Walkera tail ESC performs equally or slightly better than the Flea. The tail stays very solid (see video).

It is important to match up this brushless tail kit with a more powerful main motor such as the Turbo Ace 71318 high performance BL motor which outperforms the Turbo Ace 91416 original used as upgrades for the 4G3 and Novus CP. The brushless tail setup alone will not allow you to fly 3D without a powerful motor. Walkera uses the same BL motor on the 4#3b on 4G3 which causes a startup problem when a higher teeth 16T pinion is used. Instead of redesigning a completely new stronger motor, Walkera has chosen to step down to a 12T pinion to band-aid the problem. Consequently, the current stock Walkera BL main and the 2g tail motors on the 4G3 still lack both in torque and KV during 3D flights. Turbo Ace 71318 on the other hand has been designed from the start with high performance 3D flight in mind.  With more torque than the Walkera stock and the Turbo Ace 91416, the 71318's integrated smooth start technology boosts rotor RPM by leveraging higher KV with a custom 18 teeth brass pinion.

Newest video of 4G6 with the latest 81220 HP08-2 brushless outrunner motor which has recently been upgraded to the lighter and faster 71318 (HP07-2 WOW-7 Version). We don't have a video yet on the 4G3 with this 71318 motor but it should have additional power than on the 4G6 since the 4G3 is much lighter than the 4G6.

Important! Buyers beware, when you purchase a tail holder, make sure that it comes with a locking device for the motor, either screws or a locking clamp to secure the motor otherwise the tail motor can be easily detached with vibration or during a crash, resulting in total damage of your BL tail motor.

Holder Weight: 0.7g newest version carbon fiber tail stand/holder
Tail motor: brushless 2.9g BL outrunner
Main motor: Brushless Turbo Ace 71318 (HP07-2 WOW-7)
Walkera tail ESC: ESC for the tail with built-in converter
Requires you to already own a Walkera brushless main ESC witch comes with the stock brushless 4#3B or 4G3 helicopter. If you don't have a brushless main ESC, you then need to purchase one at http://wowhobbies.com/salehm-43b-z-34electronicspeedcontrollerfor43a43b4g3-1-1-1.aspx

The newest Thermal Cool Turbo Ace 71318-4G3 (HP07 With 18T Pinion) out-runner brushless motor for the Walkera 4G3 with more torque and lighter weight than the stock Walkera BL motor.  Outr-unner motors have inherently higher mass moments of inertia and linear momentum that offers extra punch and prevents stalls.  Like a car with more horse power the 71318 enables faster acceleration.  Like a world class gymnast, a lighter aircraft is also more nimble and responsive.  You can say linear momentum is beneficial inside the motor but not in your over all flight mass.
Operating at 120 degrees, the 71318 temperature is 15 degrees cooler than 4G3 stock brushless motor.  Premature bearing failure are often associated with excessive heat and inefficient use of battery power.  The 71318 provides exceptional lifespan and extended flight time.  There is no longer any fear that your motor will burn out because you didn't wait long enough for it to cool off between flights.

Important Instruction:  The Turbo Ace 71318 (HP07-2 WOW-7) is optimized when the 3 wires from the motor are soldered directly to the Walkera main ESC. By doing so, the motor will run stronger, less likely to cog and will not stall during start ups. Directly soldering the wires to the ESC will result in shorter wires and no contact points. This type of installation is a little inconvenient for maintenance since you can not unplug the motor as easily but it reduces the resistance of the current from the ESC to the motor allowing the motor to operate at its optimum state. If the motor runs in a reverse direction, just unsolder any 2 wires, switch them and solder them back to the ESC.

Motor type: Out-runner
Operating temperature: 110F compare to 125F on the Walker HM-4G3 BL motor
