Warning, not all XP-7A-2 has the same firmware and hardware to work with the receivers. This version compatibility has been tested to work on the receivers specified below.
This is a special edition XP-7A-2 programmable ESC made to compatibility spec to both the outrunners/ inrunners w/Anti-cog outrunner firmware. Plug & play w/ Walkera connectors. It is ideal for upgrading to the lighter outrunner motors. This ESC is compatible to 1 or 2 cell outrunners motors and batteries (Walkera ESC will only handle 1 cell battery) running on the Rx2406A, Rx2406B, Rx2406C, Rx2506A, Rx2609, Rx2610S and most other brands of receivers. Unlike the Walkera ESC, this ESC allows the outrunner HP08-2 (81220) and the 80814 brushless motor to have a connector and longer wires and it does not have to be soldered directly to the motor. It is also a must have if you are doing a 2 cell conversion since Walkera stock ESC can only handle 1 cell battery. It is now a plug and play version without soldering or connector change for the Walkera 1 cell micro helis. The ESC features smart timing for the outrunner motors which eliminates cogging during startups. This ESC is ideal for 2 cell application in which it provides extremely strong amperage, however when it is operatated with 1 cell outrunners, the head speed will be lower than operating with the stock 10A ESC. This ESC is not compatible to the new one cell Turbo Ace 31714 Power-House which requires higher amperage.
This is a hybrid version of the commonly known as the Ebay XP-7A ESC. It works with 1-2s applications and it's used mostly on the brushless main motor conversion but the speed is not designed for a brushless tail motor.

- Startup mode: fast, soft, and ultra soft. Fast applies to low-inductance and start-load motor; ultra soft applies to high-inductance and start-load motor; soft applies to case between above two
- Protection function: select from reduce-power or cut-off, default is reduce power. In reduce mode when overheat or low-voltage occurs, output power will be reduced to lower than 50%
- Throttle curve: 3 different curves for throttle control
- Li-xx cell number: auto detect or manual selection
- Cut-off threshold: low 2.6v, mid 2.85v high 3.1v
- Motor direction: normal or reverse
- *Starting power: to set the ratio of output power when starting in the range of 00% - 39%, default is 00%. Under default setting, output power is decided automatically by the system according to throttle stick position
- *PWM frequency: 13KHz and 8KHz, default is 8KHz. 13KHz is an option for low-inductance motor
- *Low voltage threshold: user can set proper voltage threshold according to cell quantity in the range of 00.0-49.9V
