This is the premium Walkera Lama 2-1 Co-axial Helicopter with CNC metal head - not the plastic head version. The lever servo is also upgraded on this version vs the screw servos on plastic Novus CX (both made by Walkera). The metal head is a collection of critical main rotor mechanisms and the servos provide the link to the receiver. It takes experience and numerous parts to upgrade the Novus CX so why not just get the fully upgraded Lama 2-1. This is a deluxe package with a total of 3 batteries (One stock 400mAh and 2 high capacity 500mAh compact battery made especially for extending Lama2-1 flight without off-setting proper CG) and 1 extra set of main blades. To service the Lama 2-1, you have the flexibility of using Lama 2-1 parts or Novus CX parts from local hobby shops or on-line stores because they are both made by Walkera and 100% compatible. Transmitter and charger are both included in this deluxe package and it is RTF out of the box. Getting extra parts is always a good idea which will save you from down time. Extra blades and skids are recommended.

The Lama 2-1, Novus CX, 4#3B, Novus FP, 4#3Q, 5G6-1, 5#10 and other Walkera fix pitch helis will all bind with Walkera's WK-2401, WK-2402, WK-2801 E/Pro and Novus's HMXJ2021 4-Channel 2.4gHz transmitters (transmitters for all these helis are interchangable). You can change the settings on the WK-2402 & WK-2801-PRO LCD Menu. If you are using a WK-2401 or HMXJ2021 transmitter with several Walkera or Nouvs helis, you should remove the single screw which secures the small 1" x 2" plastic dip switch cover on the back of the transmitter and set the switches to 1,2,4 ON and the rest OFF (for Lama 2-1). Parts are also interchangable between the Lama 2-1 and the CX. A note of caution: Given a choice, make sure you go with metal head parts and the Walkera receiver because the lever servos on the Walkera receiver last longer and it's more agil. If you have the E-Flite MCX for beginners, the Lama 2-1 is the next logical step. The Lama 2-1's powerful twin motors are backed by a 400mAh battery vs a 110mAh on the MCX. Featuring CNC metal head with more durability and precision, a feature usually found only in more advanced models, the Lama 2-1 is more forgiving in an outdoor setting with mild conditions. To minimize weight and improve responsiveness, Lama 2-1 servos are built-in on the receiver, a common MCX trait.
This Lama 2-1 package is a mode 2- Left hand throttle which includes a the Walkera 4-Channel 2.4gHz WK-2403 transmitter, a 400mHh battery and charger.
