TheSteve converter in this kit is the original version in PCB form, there are no wires from the converter to the ESC. This creats a more reliable connection and greatly increases durability in a crash. This is the new plug and play version, Zero-Soldering is needed.

This 7A ESC combo with TheSteve converter has been tested to run a CO5 brushless motor at approximately 4950 RPM head speed. We will also be carrying a cheaper more affordable 6A ESC size 18.4 * 13.3 * 3.7mm with build in converter that runs a CO5 at approximately 4650 RPM head speed using a stock MCPX battery. The difference is that the 7A ESC in this kit is able to truly unleash the power of a brushless motor and give you better all out 3D performance whereas the less expensive 6A ESC will be a calm more affordable flyer.

Watch this video below and you will know why this CO5 kit makes the best indoor MCPX brushless heli. The motor power mix is just right for indoor in comparison to the best outdoor performer using the HP05 kit which we also carry.
The upgraded MCPX in this video below is equipped with this exact CO5 kit.

The MCP X brushless main conversion kit. Includes everything you need to convert your MCP X to brushless main. Just plug in the connector to the motor plug and the power connector to your MCP X 3-in-1 receiver board, no soldering required. There is no longer any need to risk soldering any wires to your 3-in-1 main receiver board. Why does this kit cost more than buying the components separately? Because, Wow Hobbies has to integrate all the components and solder them to the XP-7A-5, install all the connectors, pinion, test them together and guarantee the kit to work by the time you receive it. This kit is custom made, integrated and tested in the USA. To fit the brushless motor in the MCPX frame, you will need a X-Acto knife or blade to cut off little plastic triangles around the stock motor. Please make sure the turning bell of the motor does not rub against the frame after you are done. If you do not wish to do any cutting and want this kit to be plug and play, we recommend the brushless ready carbon frame, goto

Due to the extra current the C05 brushless motor draws, a higher discharge rate battery is recommanded goto http://www.wowhobbies.com/mhe-mh-3001s30li-po300mah37v30cbatteryforblademcpx.aspx

HP05 and CO5 motor kit comparison:
HP05 is more powerful than CO5 but it is not as easy to control as the CO5. CO5 is for beginner to intermediate and HP05 is for advanced and it is not an ideal indoor flyer compared to the CO5 motor due to its extreme power. CO5 is great for indoor and outdoor but not capable of all-out 3D like HP05 outdoor.

Brushless main motor conversion parts included are as follows:
1. Turbo Ace (C05) brushless motor with 8 teeth pinion installed

2. TheSteve MCPX-PCB converter integraded with the XP-7A-5 7A ESC. No soldering is needed for the entire kit.

3. MCP X upgraded brush tail included to match the power of the brushless main: Plug and play, no soldering required.

This kit is integrated in the USA.
