This Version 2 (WK-09-9) digital cyclic metal gear servo is as strong as it is going to get for the 450 size heli. It offers a big improvement over the Version 1 (WK-09-8) digital cyclic servo. If you have dissected and studied as many servos as we have, you will realize that metal gear servos do not have 100% metal gears and they come in different grades. Like most regular grade metal gear servos, the Version 1 (WK-09-8) consist of 50% metal gears and 50% plastic gears. On the other hand, premium grade metal gear servos such as the Walkera HM-V450D01-Z-14-91 & Hitec HS-5065mg (please see the inside of the 2 brands of servos at the bottom of picture) consist of all metal gears with the exception of one plastic gear meshed with the servo motor pinion. Representing the utimate in metal gear servo engineering, the Walkera white plastic gear and the Hitec black plastic gear on the photo are both made with high precision resilient plastic material to reduce both vibration and noise. This single plastic gears offers a smooth transition from the motor pinion to the rest of the metal gears. Being the furtherest away from the intial point of stress during a crash, the other series of metal gears take most of the punishment which shield and protect the plastic gear at the end of the series. This metal gear servo also features precise centering and fast speed as the Hitec HS5065MG metal gear servo.

It is the same as the Align Trex 450 servo so it is a direct drop in for Walkera V450, Trex 450 and compatibles. Your receiver such as the RX2702V or the Spectrum AR7000 or the AR6100 series will be able to handle this type of digital servos.
