This is a genuine original Flea made in Germany by the original Flea manufacturer Nano. Buyer beware! There are many Flea copies from China with out-dated fireware and inferior hardware on the Fleas that are not properly programmed or configured causing motors to cog and tail wag.
The Flea brushless converter/ESC is finally available in the USA. The Flea is a high/low speed device that comes with a built-in brushless ESC used to convert RC from a brush motor to brushless, it converts the signal from the 4in1 Rx to PPM for brushless motor. Flea is designed with the fastest data update speed available, making it one of the most responsive converter/ESC in the market for helicopter tail application. Flea is shipped with the speed set to high, for most helicopters, airplanes and cars main brush motors, the data update rate/speed can be lowered by simply desoldering/disconnecting the solder bridges on the 3 legs on the Atmel chip of the Flea. Also, the gyro gain pot on the helicopter 4-in-1 receiver should be turned all the way clockwise to max + gain. Keep your existing 4-in-1, no need to buy gyro, Rx, mixer.
