MCPX2's major improvement over the MCPX is the tail rotor size. You can easily improve the MCPX tail performance by upgrading the MCPX rotor to this larger tail rotor.

If you are planning to do a brushless upgrade on your MCPX or MCPX2 main motor, you might consider upgrading the tail at the same time. Premium brushless main motors usually increase the head speed which puts more demand and stress on the tail to keep up, so simply a larger rotor such as this BLH3603 is not going to give you the solid tail hold that many advanced pilots desire.
