Is your MCP X tail motor getting weaker by the day? This custom made high power tail motor system is one of the most critical upgrades for your MCPX because a more powerful tail motor assembly offers outstanding tail authority with extended lifespan! While the weaker stock tail motor with a smaller rotor is always straining to keep the torque in check, the upgrade offers faster and precise controls using a more robust Blade 120SR Eflite tail motor with a more substantial tail rotor.
This turnkey solution is a lot more than just a 120SR stock motor and mount. Since the MCPX requires a smaller boom than the 120SR boom, we start with custom cut carbon fiber tail booms for the MCPX. Then, we remove the wires from the new motor so we can drill, align and affix this new tail boom on the larger motor mount. To reduce resistance and improve reliability, we select new wires with a suitable gauge that fits through the smaller boom and solder them to the new motor. To fully utilize the additional power, the new motor is matched with a more substantial tail rotor. Finally we check and make sure that the new boom and rotor is properly aligned and in proper working order. In short, Wow technicians have done all the customization in making this an outstanding plug-n-play upgrade for your MCPX.

Solid tail hold is critical for both sport flying and all-out 3D performance and feedback from all levels of piloting has been extremely positive. With no special tools and soldering required, this plug and play upgrade is very easy to install so you can spend more time flying.
Battery on the MCP X is inserted from the front to maintain center of gravity because the upgrade is 6.8g and the stock is 3.0g. Alternately, the battery can also fit easily on the inside of the canopy bottom. This powerful tail assembly system has been tested by Wow Hobbies and experienced MCPX pilots to be a great fit for both stock and the upgraded brushless versions of the mCP X.
